Senior Content Writer

Responsibilities:
Content Creation

  • Develop troubleshooting articles for the operations team by revising content for products
  • Collaborate with the team to utilize various resources and systems to create product-related documents
  • Review extensive research materials to simplify information and create user-friendly articles
  • Write self-service articles while adapting to the client's tone of voice
  • Optimize processes and create flowcharts as needed
  • Publish content to the Knowledge Management system

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish a style guide for consistent article writing
  • Create templates for different article types as necessary
  • Develop a content taxonomy with SEO keywords for easy searchability
  • Prepare well-structured articles using authoring tools for the client's Knowledge Management System
  • Deliver high-quality articles to effectively address user queries
  • Implement a quality assurance process to ensure content consistency and governance

Relationship Building:

  • Collaborate with the client team to address queries effectively

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a content writer, technical writer, or similar role
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Ability to conduct research using various sources
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient in meeting deadlines
  • Graduate in any field related to English literature or journalism preferred
  • Experience with DITA XML or similar tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress, Oxygen) is an advantage
